Trinity Force Stats and ability breakdown
- Cost: 3333 Gold
- + 30 Attack Damage
- + 200 Health
- + 20 Ability Haste
- + 30% Attack Speed
- Gold efficiency without Abilities: 86,01%
The stats itself don´t make Trinity Force a mythic item of course. But the beauty has some effects to it, no worries!
Why is Trinity Force special?
Trinity Force is an item for AD-Fighters in the top lane or in the jungle. With it´s changes and buffs in Patch 11.7 it really had its much needed comeback. TriForce´s passive now gives 3 AD, 3 movement speed and 3 ability haste for every legendary item held. This adds the perfect amount of juicy value to it for certain champions. But let´s comeback to that in a second.
One big plus is, that the build path of Trinity Force is very versatile. Whether you need HP, some extra burst damage on your on-hit abilities or attack speed and AD, TriForce has it all. That way it´s possible to optimize and adapt to your current situation in lane.
The second plus is Trinity Force´s movement speed bonus, after using an ability. It pretty much gives you an extra pair of boots for six seconds. Oh, and did we mention the 200% base attack damage procc after said ability?

Champions to build Trinity Force with
Although few champions use Trinity Force, the item triggers a very large power spike in the lucky ones. Mainly we are talking about those champions who need each of the above stats, but simply cannot get them to this extent via other items.
So what are the Champions that Trinity Force is particularly good on?
- Gangplank
- Vi
- Yorick
- Camille
It's best to build Trinity Force on AD-based top laners who eventually want to 1-vs-1 in a side lane. Strong split pushers who can benefit from empowered auto-attacks are the best Champions for this item.

Conclusion
Certainly Trinity Force has its place. However, there is strong competition. And this competition is called Divine Sunderer. For many top laners it is the better choice. The damage against tanks, i.e. opponents on the lane, is enormous and at the same time you are tankier than if you were fighting with Trinity Force.
However, you have to give TriForce credit for the fact that the item can be built really versatile and won´t leave alot of weak spots on its building path.
