LoL Patch 11.24 Highlights

Finally we have made it through 11.23 and arrived at LoL Patch 11.24. This is a pretty big patch, all things considered with a few interesting champion changes as well as mage items overall taking a big hit.

Kled Gets Major Changes in Patch 11.24

We talked a bit about these changes in our LoL Patch 11.24: All Buffs and Nerfs Article. Basically, Riot are shipping out some pretty big changes to Kled that will mostly affect his passive.

Kled Base Stats Buff

SKAARL BASE HEALTH 400-1420 (based on level) to 400-1550 (based on level)

Kled Passive Changes

• Skaarl's base health now counts towards Kled's base health, not Kled's bonus health
• Any health items that Kled purchases will add to Skaarl's health and count as bonus health
• While unmounted, Kled will check whether Skaarl's Courage has been restored twice as often, reducing the time it takes for them to reunite when at max Courage
• Kled now spawns with full health

Kled E Buffs

E - Jousting

• COOLDOWN 14/13/12/11/10 seconds to 13/12/11/10/9 seconds
  
• DAMAGE RATIO 60% bonus AD to 65% bonus AD

As Kled amateurs, we're not too sure how this will truly affect his win rate. Most of these seem like positive changes geared towards a more aggressive play-style. However, Riot decided to remove planned buffs for his W.

These changes appear to have the /r/KledMains subreddit divided over whether or not they are good for the champion. What do you think?

Samira Receives Huge Buff in Patch 11.24

Samira has been in a pretty rough spot for months now. As a result of this, she's been given a pretty significant buff in LoL Patch 11.24.

R - Inferno Trigger - No Longer Costs Mana.

Super easy to understand what they're aiming for here with this buff. Samira is supposed to be strong in early game skirmishes, but often runs out of mana. This has been severely limiting her power at a point in the game when she's intended to be strong. Therefore, Riot decided to give her a bit of help.

Archangel's Staff Buffed

Riot weren't happy with the performance of Archangel's Staff, so they're giving it a huge reduction in cost. This item will be far more viable in LoL Patch 11.24.

COMBINE COST 950 gold to 550 gold (total cost equally reduced)

This item is supposed to be tough to farm for, but it's a little too expensive at the moment. As a result, they've gone ahead and made the item 400 gold cheaper, we'll probably see this item a lot more often now.

Which champions are you going to try the buffed Archangel's on? I'm hyped to build it more often on Jungle Taliyah!

Camille Finally Nerfed in LoL Patch 11.24

This is such a long-awaited change. Camille has consistently been an S+ Tier Top Laner for the past 6 months, maybe even longer. Riot have finally decided to give her a few nerfs, but we were hoping for more..

Now maybe we'll see more diversity in the top lane pool?

• W - Tactical Sweep: OUTER CONE BONUS DAMAGE 6/6.5/7/7.5/8% (+3.3% per 100 bonus AD) of target's maximum health to 5/5.5/6/6.5/7% (+2.5% per 100 bonus AD) of target's maximum health
• E - Hookshot: COOLDOWN 16/14.5/13/11.5/10 seconds to 16/15/14/13/12 seconds

These nerfs seem more like a slap on the wrist for a champion with such a concerning pick/ban/win rates. Maybe Riot know something we don't?
