Misfits Announce Youngest LEC Roster

The LEC is complete with the final roster finally being announced. Misfits Gaming have completed their team ahead of the 2022 LEC start with the youngest team! So will this squad of young talent be able to surprise us? 

Misfits have taken their time with their roster announcement, but finally, they revealed their talent for the 2022 season. Now we just have to wait until November 14, 2022 and then the action can start.

Which Players Are Joining Misfits? 

Misfits has chosen to pick up players from all over Europe. They're keeping their top laner and mid laner from the 2020 season while finding new talent in all other positions from the regional EU leagues. 

This is the complete 2022 Roster for Misfits Gaming: 

• Top Lane: Shin "HiRit" Tae-min
• Jungle: Lucjan "Shlatan" Ahmad
• Mid Lane: Vincent "Vetheo" Berrié
• Bot Lane: Matúš "Neon" Jakubčík
• Support: Mertai "Mersa" Sari

In 2020, Misfits did have an insanely good start to the Summer Split, ending up in 5th place and failing to make it to the 2021 League of Legends World Championship. 

Some of their core pieces have left with Kobbe joining Astralis in the off-season, but with both Vetheo and HiRit still part of the roster and lots of new talent Misfits can be a competitive team in the LEC. 

Will they be able to beat the super team that is Vitality? Will they bring down the MAD Lions or even G2? That's what we will find out on November 14, 2022 when the LEC finally returns.
